Your Bridge to Community-Driven Planning Experts

A certified facilitator  can provide you with crucial guidance and support, ensuring that community-driven planning is not only effective but also inclusive, responsive, and attuned to the real needs of climate-impacted communities. Benefits of a Facilitator

Certified & Experienced

Our facilitators have completed an intensive 9-month certification program, ensuring they possess advanced knowledge in community-driven planning. They also bring valuable insights from successfully completing a real-world planning project.

Community-Centered Approach

Facilitators co-create community plans, prioritizing the voices and needs of climate-impacted communities.

Conflict Resolution

They excel in embracing healthy tensions, promoting constructive collaboration within your organization.

Inclusivity

Authentic inclusion practices ensure that all stakeholders are heard and respected in planning and decision-making.

Accountability

Certified facilitators are accountable to frontline communities, fostering trust and transparency.

NACRP is not responsible for the outcomes of matched facilitation requests. We strive to provide a supportive relationship to both those seeking a facilitator and those who provide facilitation and understand that our role has limits since we are not directly providing services to either party.  Where we can be of support to ensure trust-building and mutually respectful engagements we are committed to being values aligned with community-led ownership for racial equity and climate justice.

Featured Facilitators

"Being a part of the NACRP network/community has been monumental in the development of the Environmental Justice Curriculum, training our summer interns, the facilitation of community talk story days, and the development of our plans for building a more climate resilient community."

Honuʻāina Nichols

Climate Education Coordinator, Mālama Loko Ea Foundation

"NACRP to me represents the fruition of many hopes and dreams from activists that came before me who paved the way for organizers like myself to find a hub of support and tools they wished they had to uplift our communities. NACRP is building the dream hub for facilitators whose mission is seeing their community liberated and empowered to lead future generations to thrive."

Program Coordinator, Community Organizer Unconfined

Matching Fee

We currently have a sliding scale for an applied fee when there is a successful match for facilitation. This fee is only applied when NACRP is involved in the coordination of a contracted fee for service. This small fee is applied to the contracting entity, not to the facilitator, in order to offset our costs for playing a coordination role in the process.
