Identifying a set of community priorities around which to organize and generate resources is key to community power and change. But what does it take to actually align, as a community, around a clear set of actionable priorities? What challenges come up? What tools have community-based facilitators and organizers used to address those challenges? What does it look like to lean into conflict and breakthrough to deeper understanding of projects, solutions, snd areas of life are most critical now for advancing racial and climate justice? In this 2.5-hour interactive, online workshop we will be joined by guest storyteller, Katt Ramos from Our Power Richmond, a coalition that has been at forefront of developing community-driven planning methods (rooted in community vision, power, and solutions) for a Just Transition. Through their story as well as peer learning, you will gain insights and practical tools for your own work.
